How Fazlani Nature's Nest uses a health calendar to reposition a resort as a wellness stay
Fazlani Nature's Nest has 12 ads live on Meta. Atmantan, a near neighbour, has 145. All 12 of Fazlani's started between 9 and 24 September 2026, in the weeks around its move from a leisure resort to a “wellness stay” on 21 September. Every one sends people to its Instagram profile, not to a booking page.

One treatment, one reason to care this week

Live ads in the Meta Ad Library, India, 28 September 2026
Meta's own count of live ads. It counts ads, not money. We read all 12 of Fazlani's, pulled 70 of Atmantan's and read all 7 of Ananda's.
Category introduction
Wellness travel in India mixes two older things: the Ayurvedic clinic and the holiday resort. IMARC puts India's wellness tourism market at about USD 34.9 billion in 2025. Other research firms give different totals, so treat any single figure as a rough guide.
The best-known names sit at different points on that line. Ananda in the Himalayas, near Rishikesh, opened in 2000 on a 100-acre estate and describes itself as India's first destination spa. Atmantan, on 42 acres above Mulshi Lake near Pune, opened in 2016 and is the nearest rival to Fazlani for a weekend from Mumbai or Pune. Both sell stays of days or weeks, with programmes led by doctors or therapists.
Because a stay is expensive and personal, ads do not close the sale. They have to start a conversation, which makes the way each brand uses its ads a good guide to its plan.
Brand introduction
Fazlani Nature's Nest opened in 2018 near Lonavala, on a 68-acre lakeside estate. It is owned by the family behind the Fazlani Group, a food business, and led by Chairman Dr Abdul Kader Fazlani. It offers doctor-led Ayurveda and naturopathy, a spa, yoga, a farm that supplies its kitchen, and experiences with horses and other animals. Its Instagram account has about 32,000 followers.
Trade press reported in October 2026 that it is moving from a nature-based leisure retreat to a luxury wellness destination. Its own post says that from 21 September 2026 “every stay” is designed around wellbeing. That change explains the ads.
Summary
Fazlani is teaching the market a new name for itself, one health date at a time. Each ad pairs a treatment with a reason to care that week: PCOS Awareness Month, National Nutrition Week, World Wellness Weekend, the monsoon. The offer is a conversation, not a discount.
The second half of the plan is the route. All 12 ads end at the Instagram profile. There, 71 posts since June show what a stay would feel like, and creators add travel-style posts from outside the brand. Booking happens later, by phone or the link in the bio.
Problem statement and objective
This is our reading of the ads, not a brief Fazlani has published. The problem looks like this. A resort known for leisure cannot simply say “we are a wellness place” and be believed. Guests who come for a weekend break need a reason to think of it as a place to get better.
The objective that follows: tie every treatment to a health concern a reader already has, and build enough familiarity on Instagram that the repositioning feels earned.
Execution: what the ads actually do
We read all 12 live ads on 28 September 2026 and decoded the 19 creatives inside them: 14 stills and 5 videos. With so few, we give counts and no percentages.
A health date for every treatment
Six of the 12 ads hook onto a date or season. Two use PCOS Awareness Month (Abhyanga massage and a personal-journey ad), one uses National Nutrition Week, one World Wellness Weekend and two the monsoon (“Ease Monsoon Muscle Cramps the Ayurvedic way”). The others cover stress and sleep (an immersion bath, Shirodhara), two brand-story ads, a teaser and one offer.
| What the ad is about | Ads of 12 | Example |
|---|---|---|
| A health date or season | 6 | “This National Nutrition Week…” |
| Stress or sleep | 2 | “Slow the mind. Soothe the senses.” |
| Brand story | 2 | “Five chapters. One philosophy.” |
| Teaser | 1 | “Tomorrow, a new chapter begins.” |
| Offer | 1 | “Pay for 5 nights, stay for 7” |

Every click goes to Instagram
All 12 ads carry a “Visit Instagram profile” button. Most ad texts ask people to call or use the link in the bio. 15 of the 19 decoded creatives show no on-screen ask at all. Our reading is that the ad is there to be seen and followed, and the profile does the persuading.
Feeling first, claims second
Of 19 creatives, 11 frame the benefit as emotional and 5 as mixed. 9 pull on aspiration and 6 on a pain point (“When stress builds up, your body feels it too”). 15 offer no proof such as a statistic or review, and 18 carry no discount. The exception is the single 5-nights-for-7 offer, valid for September bookings only.
Real people, outdoors
16 of 19 creatives show a person: 10 men and 4 women, and 8 of the 16 look aged 35 to 44. 9 are shot outdoors. Two ads are talking-to-camera videos: the chairman on how the retreat began, and a woman speaking in the PCOS ad.
The feed and the creators
The brand posted 71 times between 2 June and 28 September 2026, 20 of them in September. Most posts are small: the median has 27 likes. The two with the most views, 18,624 and 16,030, are a World Wellness Weekend yoga morning and a “no one-size-fits-all” post. We also read 26 posts from 17 creators who tagged it since April, none labelled as paid partnerships. The busiest creator, wanderlust_coders, has 5, which fits a travel audience.
I never wanted to create just another luxury resort—I wanted to build a space where people step away from the noise, reconnect with nature, and truly heal.
Dr Abdul Kader Fazlani, Chairman, Fazlani Nature's Nest — quoted in Hotelier Buzz, 3 October 2026
What the competition is doing
Atmantan and Ananda sell the same promise, with very different ad plans.
| Fazlani | Atmantan | Ananda | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Live ads | 12 | 145 | 7 |
| Where the click goes | Instagram profile, 12 of 12 | Own website, 70 of 70 pulled | Not read |
| Main button | Visit Instagram profile | Book now (26 of 70) | Not read |
| Creatives decoded | 19 | 43 | 2 |
| Carry a discount | 1 of 19 | 5 of 43 | 0 of 2 |
| Instagram posts read | 71 (Jun to Sep) | 31 | 55 |
Source: Meta Ad Library and Instagram, India, read 28 September 2026. Atmantan: 70 of 145 ads pulled. Ananda's decoded sample is two creatives, so we say nothing about its style.
Atmantan: one festive offer, one website
Atmantan has 145 live ads. Of the 70 we pulled, 55 are headed “Exclusive Festive Offer | Book before 30th September” and 61 started in September. All 70 go to its own site, with buttons that read “Book now” (26), “Get offer” (17), “Get quote” (13), “Contact us” (9) and “Learn more” (5). It is a classic direct-response plan: a deadline, an offer and a booking route. Of its 43 decoded creatives, 19 show a lifestyle presenter and 22 a person partly in frame.
Ananda: almost no ads, a lot of heritage
Ananda has just 7 live ads. Its Instagram is busier, with 55 posts since April, 35 of them carousels, and it is partnering with other retreats, such as a residency of its therapist at a Greek island wellness house. Our reading is that a 26-year-old brand with a palace on the estate can let its name do most of the work.
What other brands can take from this
- Hang a new positioning on dates people already know. PCOS month, nutrition week and the monsoon give a repositioned brand a reason to speak each week.
- Pair every claim with a treatment. A concrete therapy makes a vague word like wellness believable.
- Decide where the click goes. Fazlani sends people to a profile; Atmantan to a booking form. Each is a choice about how fast to ask.
- Keep the offer to one. Fazlani runs a single discount ad among 12; Atmantan puts 55 of 70 behind one.
- Let travel creators carry the leisure side. They reach people who may later want the therapy.
Method, and what this does not show
Everything here comes from public sources. We did not work with Fazlani Nature's Nest, Atmantan or Ananda in the Himalayas, and the reasons we give for their choices are our reading, not theirs.
- Ads: Meta Ad Library, India, read 28 September 2026. All 12 of Fazlani's live ads and all 7 of Ananda's. For Atmantan we pulled 70 of 145 (a sample) and decoded 43 creatives from them.
- Live totals (12, 145, 7) are Meta's own count on the day. They count ads, never spend.
- Decoded counts are of creatives, not ads, and are tiny for Fazlani (19) and Ananda (2), so we give no percentages.
- Instagram: Fazlani's 71 brand posts (2 June to 28 September 2026) and 26 creator posts (7 April to 19 September 2026); Atmantan's 31 and Ananda's 55 from recent months. Likes and views are public counts.
- We grouped Fazlani's ads by topic by hand from the ad text. The wellness-stay change on 21 September is the brand's own post; the “moving from leisure” description is from trade press.
- No spend, sales, bookings or cost figure appears on this page. None can be seen from outside an ad account.
